What We Offer Our Families…
At Scribbles Learning Center, we believe that when families thrive, children thrive too. That's why our tuition includes so much more than just daily care. We are proud to offer a wide variety of enrichment opportunities, family supports, and special experiences-at no additional cost to you.
Parent Support & Enrichment
Monthly Parent Nights Out - Enjoy an evening to recharge while we care for your little ones.
Parent Workshops - Led by certified counselors, these sessions provide tools and guidance on child development, positive parenting, and family well-being.
Exciting Enrichment for Children
Gnome Surf Partnership - A monthly "Surf Fit" program (winter months) that blends movement, balance, and fun, adapted for all ages.
Ball Gowns & Glass Slippers Story Time - Bi-weekly visits from beloved storybook characters who bring stories to life through interactive readings.
Blazing Saddles Petting Zoo - Monthly hands-on animal experiences that teach empathy, responsibility, and the joy of caring for living things.
Family Involvement
Classroom Celebrations & Events - Families are regularly invited to join us for special occasions, holiday celebrations, and classroom showcases.
Community-Building Activities - From seasonal events to family appreciation days, we create spaces where parents, caregivers, and children can connect.
Celebrating Families & Diversity
Cultural Heritage Celebrations - Invite families to share food, music, or traditions from their cultures. For example: a "Taste of Scribbles" family potluck where each family brings a favorite dish, or a cultural dress day.
Family Traditions Wall - Display photos or drawings of different family traditions (holidays, weekend activities, recipes) so children can see and appreciate diversity in family life.
Holiday Inclusion - Celebrate not just traditional American holidays but also Diwali, Lunar New Year, Hanukkah, Ramadan/Eid, and others - with age-appropriate crafts, books, and music.
Offering More to the Community
Community Resource Nights - Partner with local organizations (libraries, financial advisors, healthcare providers, fire/police) to hold short info nights for parents.
Community Storytellers - Invite local authors, elders, or community leaders to come read stories or share traditions with the kids.
Service Projects for Kids - Simple activities like decorating cards for nursing homes, collecting canned goods, or making "kindness bags" for shelters.
Celebrating Our Teachers
Family Notes of Gratitude - Invite parents/children to write thank-you notes during Teacher Appreciation Week.
Spotlight Wall or Social Posts - Feature one teacher a month, sharing their background and favorite classroom activities.
Professional Growth Support - Celebrate teacher milestones (new certifications, anniversaries at Scribbles).
