Schedule: Monday-Friday, Full-Time
Compensation: Competitive hourly pay based on experience and certification

Our preschool program prepares children for kindergarten and beyond through a developmentally appropriate, project-based curriculum-Experience Preschool-that celebrates creativity, curiosity, and character.

 Position Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Preschool Teacher who can lead a classroom of 3-5-year-olds in a warm, engaging, and structured environment. You will be responsible for planning curriculum, guiding children through learning experiences, and fostering growth in every developmental domain.

 Responsibilities:

  • Plan and implement engaging lesson plans based on the Experience Preschool curriculum

  • Promote school readiness in areas such as literacy, math, social skills, and problem-solving

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized classroom

  • Use positive behavior guidance strategies to support children's emotional development

  • Conduct child assessments and communicate progress with families

  • Supervise and collaborate with assistant teachers

  • Ensure compliance with all EEC regulations and Scribbles Learning Center policies

Requirements:

  • EEC Preschool Lead Teacher Certification (or in progress)

  • Minimum 1 year classroom experience with preschool-age children

  • CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

  • Knowledge of child development and developmentally appropriate practices

  • Strong communication, organizational, and classroom management skills

  • A love for working with young children and a collaborative spirit

 Preschool Assistant Teacher - Full-Time

Location: Scribbles Learning Center, 396 Onset Ave, East Wareham, MA 02538
Start Date: Immediate Opening
Schedule: Monday-Friday, Full-Time
Compensation: Competitive hourly pay based on experience

 About Scribbles:

Our preschool classrooms are joyful places where children learn through play, discovery, and meaningful relationships. As an Assistant Teacher, you will support the Lead Teacher in creating an environment where preschoolers feel confident, curious, and ready for the next step in their educational journey.

 Responsibilities:

  • Support the Lead Teacher in implementing lesson plans and classroom activities

  • Engage with children through play, circle time, stories, and projects

  • Assist with daily routines including meals, toileting, transitions, and classroom prep

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment

  • Provide positive behavior guidance and emotional support

  • Document observations and support child assessments as directed by Lead Teacher

  • Foster warm, respectful relationships with children, families, and coworkers

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • Prior experience working in a preschool setting preferred

  • EEC Teacher Certification or willingness to pursue (support provided)

  • CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

  • Ability to actively participate in classroom routines and activities

  • A team-oriented, flexible, and nurturing personality
