Job Summary:

Scribbles Learning Center is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Preschool Teacher to join our team of early childhood professionals. The Preschool Teacher will be responsible for providing a developmentally appropriate, play-based learning environment for children ages 3-5, using the Experience Preschool curriculum. Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and implement daily lessons using the Experience Preschool curriculum, incorporating literacy, math, science, art, and music

  • Create a nurturing, inclusive, and stimulating classroom that supports children's curiosity, independence, and growth

  • Maintain a safe and clean learning environment in accordance with Massachusetts EEC regulations

  • Observe and document each child's development, learning styles, and individual needs

  • Build strong, positive relationships with children and families through open communication and regular updates

  • Conduct developmental assessments and parent-teacher conferences

  • Collaborate with team members and assistant teachers to create a cohesive classroom environment

  • Manage classroom behavior through positive guidance and redirection techniques

  • Supervise daily routines including meals, toileting, and transitions with consistency and care

Qualifications:

  • Must meet Massachusetts EEC Teacher certification requirements for Preschool

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (preferred)

  • Minimum 9 months of experience working with preschool-aged children in a licensed program

  • Strong understanding of early childhood development and play-based learning

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

  • CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

  • Passion for working with young children in a team-centered, family-focused environment

The ideal candidate will assist in implementing a play-based curriculum, ensure a safe and nurturing environment, and support children's developmental needs in alignment with our center's philosophy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the lead teacher in implementing the Experience Preschool curriculum

  • Assist in supervising and engaging children in age-appropriate activities throughout the day

  • Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment in accordance with EEC regulations

  • Foster a warm, inclusive atmosphere where every child feels safe, valued, and encouraged to explore

  • Assist with classroom routines, including mealtimes, toileting, rest periods, and transitions

  • Observe and document children's progress and behaviors under the direction of the lead teacher

Qualifications:
